Improvising live on video with a patch from Ambient Strings with the focus on the new feedback machine introduced in Falcon 2.1, tweaking/testing things on the fly.
Hi Mike,
I think you’ll be better off to contact UVI support with this issue, I don’t use Drone so I can’t test it for myself.

I would try to add a compressor or even a multi-band compressor on keygroup level, with that each individual note will be compressed and raised in volume individually.
The dummy KG workaround only works with Layer-LFOs set to legato, there is no other way.
It seems that this was fixed in version 2.07.
I have a dumb question about the FM oscillator: are the four operators all using a sine wave? Is there any possibility to change their wave shape?
Only sine waves.
Improvising live on video with a patch from the upcoming sound library Falcon Singles – Crotales, tweaking the installed Macros on the fly. Description embedded in the video.
Thank you for the warning. Had a similar thing happen to me lately with a Bug in GRMs PitchAccum so appreciate the warning ahead!
Unfortunately the UVI devs haven’t been able to reproduce this bug yet but at least I warned them.
Does anyone know if there is a simple way with scripts to change the color of the text and the rings on the knobs on the info page. Most of the time they work fine, but with specific background images they fade out.
I don’t think you can change the default color with scripting, you would have to design your own knobs and probably fonts and then script those into the interface. But I could be wrong…
One last demo for Ambient Piano combining three patches, Macro automation in LogicX.
Dark ambient groove track combining three patches from Falcon Singles – Ambient Piano (Muted Sequence Split KS – Tail Pad – Ethereal Clouds KS (the piano-scape in key-switch 1)), plenty of Macro automation, 100% Falcon.
Not really, the thread with the latest reply will always be on top, but that’s about it.
Demo jam combining three patches from Ambient Piano, some Macro automation and a limiter on the master output.
Demo for a patch from Ambient Piano which uses flageolet samples played on a grand piano, the modulation wheel selects the different layers, each one holding a different flageolet sample. Tweaking the installed Macros on the fly in the video.
Improvising with a single patch from the sound library Falcon Singles – Ambient Piano, some Macro automation in LogicX recorded in a 2nd pass.
Very nice! Great work Simon Cheers and a good new year 2020 to you! Tom
Hey Tom, nice to see you around here. Thank you, have a prosperous and happy 2020 yourself.
Hi, is there a way to rename LFO’s, Oscillators etc.? I was fooling around with Falcon, and creating some wind FX, and ended up using quite a lot of LFO’s and started wondering if there is a way to rename them somehow Cheers -k
Yes, just double click on an LFO (at the bottom of the interface) and enter your custom name.
Here comes a first audio demo for Falcon Singles – Ambient Piano, using four patches, some Macro automation in LogicX and a limiter on the master output.
You will have to create your own Macro knobs with graphic design and scripting, I can’t provide a reference for it though.
Well an oscillator without an amplitude envelope will just sound forever, that’s how it is and that’s why Falcon automatically links a new envelope to every oscillator you add. You could later remove all the amp envelopes from the individual keygroups and add an envelope on program level which you can link to all existing keygroups. And if you don’t need the pitch bend control just delete it – open tree view, click on the control you want to delete, right click -> delete node.
