So you would modulate the speed knob of the multi-envelope with a linear key track modulator.
Thank you Simon. Yes, I used the key follow modulator and realized the LFO max out at 20hz. Do you know any other way to achieve a volume on / off at the Hertz-rate of every individual note?
The multi-envelope allows for much faster modulation speeds at audio rate, explained in this video:
The max speed of the LFOs in Falcon is not fast enough to achieve this, if they were you would use the linear key follow modulator and set the modulation amount to 0.50171665943996868 – that way you can also tune filters which don’t have a key track parameter implemented.
Is there a way to copy layers from one part to another?
You can load entire patches/programs as layers into an existing program.
No, Falcon does not support cross modulation between oscillators and only the wavetable oscillator has FM to modulate the wavetables.
But you can use an LFO on layer/program level, proceed as follows:
In a given key-group right click on the parameter you want to assign, add Layer/LFO, set LFO to “Song“, then it will work, if you use a custom shape within the LFO and draw in the modulation curve yourself. It’s just a workaround but hey 🙂
Use “Song Position“ as trigger mode, I’ll check if that is available on keygroup level.
Try assigning the resonance to a Macro, then assign the MW to that Macro (right click on Macro->assign), you can add a modulation mapper in between if you want to use exponential curves for the modulation range.
Ambient track featuring two patches from Falcon Singles – Frame Drums & Friend, plenty of Macro automation in Logic X, no additional effects, 100% UVI Falcon.
Patch descriptions:
Whale Song
“Three layered samples of sliding a rubber ball mounted on a stick on the skin of an ocean drum drum producing whale-like low frequency glissandos, multi-granular oscillators – layered with an analog synth drone in L2. Each glissando and the synth have their dedicated volume controls.
Control grain speed/position/pitch randomization with Macros, add re-triggering HP filter modulation and tempo-synced amplitude modulation (different sync speed for each sample) with Macros. More controls for delay/reverb/limiter are installed.”Pacific Ocean
Two long textural samples made by slowly moving a small ocean drum filled with metallic spheres layered with two field recordings of ocean waves hitting a pebble beach I made at the Atlantic Ocean in in Northern France, control or randomize sample start with Macros. The drum swishes and the ocean sounds have dedicated volume controls, add tuned comb-filter with “Resonator“-Macro, add polyphonic modulation (per note) for LP filter, panning, pitch and amplitude modulation with Macros. More controls for phaser/delay/reverb/limiter are installed.Groovy demo track in 5/8 combining seven patches from the sound library Falcon Singles – Frame Drums & Friends available on patchpool.net, no additional effects, 100% UVI Falcon.
I just released Frame Drums & Friends, details can be found in this article
or directly on the patchpool website.
Slightly dystopian demo track combining three patches from Frame Drums & Friends, some Macro automation in Logic X, no additional effects, 100% UVI Falcon. I’ll release this library tomorrow and the pre-order price will change to regular, whoever want to save some cash, order it today.

Demo for the patch “Gong Drum Thump&Mute“ from the sound library Falcon Singles – Frame Drums & Friends available on patchpool.net, Macro automation in LogicX.
Improvising (live on video) consecutively with two patches from the sound library Falcon Singles – Frame Drums & Friends available on patchpool.net which use samples made by sliding a rubber ball on the skin of a large gong-drum and a frame-drum, tweaking the installed Macros on the fly, patch descriptions inside.
The sound in the video is just a normal tempo-synced LFO with a ramp down shape modulating the filter cutoff.
