Yes this is very confusing. Why can you assign modulators if they don’t do anything? I end up spending time and effort wondering, “Have I done something wrong, or is this a weird case that Falcon doesn’t support?”
This definitely falls under the category of bad UX. In principle you don’t want to lead a user to believe they can perform a task you know they can not. Even if it’s temporarily confusing.
Undo is complex although to what extent it is for Falcon makes me curious. Honestly I think they should aim for another objective as an alternative IF they can’t implement undos: more advanced saving options with versioning. The fact is that if they at least consider a way in which users can frequently and easily save their versions of their development, than can function as an undo.
I’m also considering using git with my Falcon development.
Yeah I just asked about this same issue. I’m glad they were notified of this problem.
