I’m a programmer, so I don’t have any trouble understanding Lua in general, but the UVI documentation has no examples that involve modulating Fx parameters. I understand I probably need to navigate a tree of objects, i.e. find the layer I want, then navigate to the attached keygroups, fx, etc. but where do you get the root of the tree?
Most examples I can find online, like the “Punch” thing, mostly seem to affect MIDI, so I haven’t found any leads on how to affect fx parameters like filter cutoff frequencies.
Did you ever get an answer or figure it out? I’m exploring what I can do with Lua in Falcon, and comparing that to what I can do natively in Bitwig, from a sound design/composition perspective, so your question is interesting.
