Any idea how to make something like Kurzweil's FUNS?

    Hi Falconers,

Pleased to be here. Loving Falcon. Saved my life.

I was wondering if there is some way to achieve something like what Kurzweil call FUNs, whereby, for a modulation source, a mathematical equation can be applied using two variables at the input to create a cool output….

So  a not shy example, at the risk of getting ahead of myself, could be something like this:

    A x (2B/tempo) = Z

Where ‘A’ could be CC1 (physical controller) , ‘B’ could be LFO depth (internal ).

Tempo would simply be the tempo, eg: 137

Finally ‘Z’ would be the resultant output which would be routed to a parameter of your choosing.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts. ..

    Welcome to the forum.

Maybe you should have a look at lua scripting here

    Thank you for pointing me.

Looking at the Lua  manual, It looks like a pretty steep learning curve for someone with little to no programming experience. It’s heartening to know that it could be achieved though…hopefully a Lua/Falcon enthusiast out there will do something like this way before I get my head around it…

I think this would be easier in Bitwig, not sure anyone should learn to program just to accomplish this.
